6.5-3 An angle section with equal legs is subjected to a bending moment M having its vector directed along the 1–1 axis, as shown in the figure. Determine the orientation of the neutral axis and calculate the maximum tensile stress \(\sigma_t\) and maximum compressive stress \(\sigma_c\) if the angle is an L \(150 \times 150 \times 14\) section and \(M = 2.5 \text{ kN}\cdot\text{m}\). See Table F-4 of Appendix F for the dimensions and properties of the angle section.
